Procedures we follow.
Woodwork Exterior/interior refurbishment
- Clean down and sand all areas, where paint is bare or flaking
- Clean down and remove all loose and flaky paint
- Dig out any bad wood/replace if needed
- Seal area and fill with 2 pack wood filler
- Prime all exposed wood
- Apply 2 undercoats, 1 full coat and 1 flash coat and medium sand between coats.
- Smooth pad sand down then apply top coat finish exterior/interior new work
- Prime all bare wood
- Sand then fill any holes dents or scratches
- Sand and touch up filling
- Apply 2 coats, 1 full coat and 1 flash coat. Medium sand pad between coats
- Smooth pad sand down then top coat required finish
Walls Exterior refurbishment
- Clean down and remove any flaking paint
- Scrape out any cracks and fill, also any holes with exterior filler
- Stabilize any areas if needed
- Paint 3 coats masonry paint colour and texture as arranged
Exterior new work
- Clean down any bad cement/render lumps
- Seal wall if needed
- Apply 3 coats of masonry paint colour and texture as arranged
Walls and ceilings Interior refurbishment
- Clean down remove any flaky paints bits of wallpaper/coverings
- Scrape out cracks and holes and fill
- Smooth all walls/ceilings with sandpaper
- If painting apply 3 coats
- If wallpaper seal walls with size then hang paper
- If painting effects apply primers and the said coats after for desired effect
Interior new work
- Missed coat walls/ceiling with 60/40 mix
- Fill anywhere that is needed Smooth all walls/ceilings with sandpaper
- If painting apply 3 coats
- If wallpaper seal walls with size then hang paper
- If painting effects apply primers and the said coats after for desired effect
Steelwork refurbishment
- Clean any flaky paints with wire brush
- Wash all down
- Fill any needed holes
- Prime bare spots
- Undercoat 1 full coat 1 flash coat
- Apply 1 full top coats as arranged
New work
- Scrape and clean down any imperfections
- Fill any holes needed
- Grout if necessary
- Prime with metal prime if needed
- Apply 1 full and 1 flash coat undercoat
- Apply 1 top coat
- Or apply 2-3 coats of a metal paint as directed
